CMIPP Planning Meeting Grants
Planning Grants are intended to facilitate the coordination and development of joint research or education and/or integrated research & education activities for identified opportunities between members of the Cambridge University and MIT academic communities. CMIPP support is primarily intended as contributions to the travel, subsistence and hosting expenses associated with the visiting participants.

CMIPP Workshop Grants
Workshop Grants are intended to help members of the Cambridge University and MIT academic community explore and identify areas of multi-disciplinary and complementary activities that could form the basis of joint projects. CMIPP support is primarily intended as contributions to the travel, subsistence and hosting expenses of the visiting participants. The CMIPP team can also provide event management support for workshops.

CMIPP Exchange Grants
Exchange Grants are intended to both strengthen relationships and facilitate the exchange of scientific knowledge, expertise and practice between collaborating groups at Cambridge & MIT. In particular, Exchange Grants will facilitate researchers spending time in their partners’ laboratories to engage in cooperative activities, study and/or consultation. This programme should be of particular benefit to early-career researchers who can use the period of exchange to acquire new skills, gain valuable international experience and also establish lasting international partnerships of their own. more..
Recently Funded CU-MIT Projects
Following two calls for proposals in 2007, CMIPP received 47 bids and a significant number of expressions of interest. Many of these bids were successful. The funded projects involve over 80 faculty members from both institutions, as well as large numbers of students and several industry partners.
