Over the past six years the Cambridge-MIT Institute has led to many excellent transatlantic partnerships, adding to the strong links that already existed. As CMI moves beyond the grant-giving phase of the original funding, the two Universities are very keen to maintain a strong platform on which new opportunities and relationships can grow. Based on the successes and effective practices learned from CMI, we have developed a significant set of activities that form the new Cambridge-MIT Partnership Programme.

A key element of the Cambridge-MIT Partnership Programme will be to disseminate the lessons learned through a series of Knowledge Transfer Workshops presenting CMI case studies alongside examples from other organisations. These workshops are designed to provide an insight into the effective practices that successfully impact productivity, competitiveness and entrepreneurship and will lead to the publication of summary papers for the wider community. CMI has developed and piloted a number of education programmes designed to encourage innovative behaviour in graduates. Building on these successful programmes, CMI continues to extend the range and depth of its increasingly recognised assessment work through its Partnership Programme.
